New Smyrna Beach Boardriders is asking for your help for their club member David Chambers. David was injured surfing when the tail of his board broke multiple ribs and pierced his right lung. He is at Holmes Regional Medical Center where they have put in a chest tube to drain air and blood from his lung. He has been there since Saturday and he was hoping to have the chest tube taken out this week. But, his puncture is not healing like they hoped and it looks like he will be there quite a few more days. Unfortunately, David has no medical insurance. David didn’t want to ask for help…but his burdens have grown too large to take on alone. Please help him in anyway you possibly can.
