David Hunt Cameron's Solo Album #2!

Dear friends!
My long awaited return to the recording studio is happening next month! Believe it or not, it's been 17 years since my first album . I've spent much of the last two decades focused on teaching music to children all over the world, but I've never stopped writing songs, so some of these tunes have been aged very well! I'll be joined at Keith Greeninger's gorgeous Wind River Studios by good friends and fine musicians: Dave Welsh , James Walz , and Dan Robbins. You can see a short tour of the studio here . The four of us will be recording live in this beautiful space and will be bringing in plenty of exciting guest musicians as well. This burst of creative energy is slated to occur in just a few weeks--September 13th-16th, and the finished product will be available in mid- December. Just in time for Christmas!
I would so appreciate your help in making this dream a reality. Recording, mixing and mastering is an expensive process, and I don't have the backing of a record label. This is a "soul project," not a commercial one. I simply want to share this music with you, the friends that I love, both near and far. Your financial contribution will help move this project forward and give you an opportunity to be a part of the music and the process. Of course, it would mean a great deal to me personally as well.
The fundraising goal for this project is $7,000 which will go to cover the costs of studio rental, our engineer's wages, musician pay, mixing, mastering and pressing discs. Any remaining funds will go to Second Harvest Food Bank, which helps to feed those in need throughout the Bay Area. The following levels of contribution come with these perks:
$25.00 - A physical copy of the CD, a digital download and my gratitude
$50.00 - Two physical copies of the CD, a digital download and my gratitude
$75.00 - Three physical copies of the CD, a digital download, a copy of my first solo album, "Organic" and my gratitude
$100.00 - You guessed it! Four physical copies of the CD, a digital download, two copies of my first solo album, "Organic" and my gratitude.
Of course, feel free to give more if you would like.
For each additional $25.00, you'll receive an additional copy of the CD and an additional copy of "Organic"--they make great gifts!
All who donate will receive an invitation to the CD release party which will take place at Wind River Studios in Santa Cruz, CA. Date TBD
Vinyl: If you choose to contribute, please let me know if you prefer vinyl over digital (I know I do). If possible, there will be a limited run of vinyl pressings for those who prefer this medium.
To be transparent, I've included an estimated breakdown of the expenses and how your donation will make all the difference to this project. As actual expenses occur, I'll keep you updated so you can see how your money is contributing to the project:
- Studio time: $2,500
- Studio musicians: $1,500
- Mixing: $1,000
- Mastering: $1,000
- Physical copies and mailing: $1,000
