David & Alex Restoration Fund

David and Alex had an unsettling even happen on Friday, June 19. 
Their upstairs shower flooded their entire apartment and belongings. In the process, it utterly soaked the whole structure of their apartment as well. 

On that day, Alex woke early in the morning, showered, got ready for work and left.  David worked a long day on Thursday and slept in on Friday. When he awoke mid-morning and got out of bed, his feet landed in water-drenched carpet.

He went to check the shower, knowing it had previously had a small leak. When he saw it, he realized the initial leak had gone rogue and flooded the bathroom and his whole bedroom. 
He made futile efforts to turn off the water and contain the leak, but it instead turned into a full on water show spreading throughout the whole upstairs and leaking through the roof into the downstairs portion of their apartment. 

Exhaustive clean-up attempts are under way, trying to save whatever is left of their furniture and belongings. They did not have insurance.

Currently, they have turned off all water and electricity to their apartment and do not know when they will be able to turn it back on.
