Davey's Fund

On Saturday night, October 2lst, my nephew Davey Gattuso suffered the tragic deaths of his father David and his brother Tony.  Davey has severe autism and his brother Tony  was his primary caregiver.   Davey's mother, Marybeth, is  battling stage 4 inflammatory breast cancer and has to receive chemotherapy every three weeks indefinitely.   Prior to this tragedy the family   was close to destitute.  Because of Tony's death and loss of income the situation is now more dire.   

The family lives in a rental property in Wisconsin and they have to relocate within 30 days.   Marybeth would prefer to move to Maryland or Pennsylvania to have the support of her family.  Unfortunately, there are hurdles to overcome in order for this to be a possibility.    Marybeth's medical care must be transferred from one state to another.  As well as obtaining resources for Davey in a new state can take sometime.  There maybe a waiting list for as long as one to two year.  

This fund will be used for the care of Davey.   His mother needs help to take care of him.  He needs extensive services including medical, daily bathing, and hygiene. He is not a little boy. One homemaker is not enough to get the job done. A caregiver  will be necessary to watch Davey while his mom is receiving her cancer treatments.  This is all in addition to food, shelter and clothing needs that everyone has.  

This mother and son really do need tremendous help at this very, very difficult time.  We are asking for your prayers to give guidance as to where this mother and son should relocate.   May doors open up quickly as to where ever the Lord wants them to be.  If you feel led and are able to  help out monetarily in any amount, we would greatly appreciate it.  Be assured, 100% of this fund will be applied to Davey's needs.
