Dave's Eye Surgery

You all have known that I have been battling advanced open angle glaucoma for many years. I have had numerous surgeries on my eyes including several glaucoma laser and other surgeries like a trabeculectomy 3 years ago in my right eye. 

Now my left eye (which was my better of the two eyes) is now resistant to all but one eye drop. This eye drop is now losing its potency and effectiveness.
I have experienced an agressive blind spot that started as a speck in December. It is now in the shape of a chili pepper wrapping around my lower left quadrant of my left eye field of vision. It is advancing far quicker than expected.  I am electing to have a glaucoma surgery called a Canaloplasty. I will be having this surgery this coming Tuesday August 1st 2017. I will hopefully be healed up enough tp start my teaching job starting on the 1oth of August.

I do not like to involve friends in a private matter like this, however we lost our insurance last January after losing my job in California. Since then I have sunstitute taught and tried to get on Medical without result.
