Dave’s BKA Amputation recovery

Dave Surujnarain, age 20, was in a very tragic accident on Feb16th. He was pinned in the vehicle for 2hrs due to the engine & front driver side wheel both being forced into the car by the tree he struck. Therefor crushing his legs. He has both femur bones broken. Aside from the more important & 4th major surgery, & besides his left leg’s BKA (Below Knee Amputation), the left leg’s tubulars & fibulas are broken, as well as a fracture in his left hip. His right ankle & right side’s heel were both broken. This is just waist down. We need to make sure he’s 100% able to continue to get the correct and proper care for full-range motion, which insurance might not be covering for as long as he needs to be there. Besides that, there will be some costs for at home living & his numerous prostheses needed for everyday living! As you can tell.. it will be a very long road to a Full Recovery & we are trying to be prepared for him in every way possible.
