Help David Murphy, Victim of Ax Attack

On January 7, 2021, Dave Murphy was sitting in his friend's garage in Port Hueneme, California, when he was the victim of a brutal, unprovoked attack with a tactical hatchet by a delusional assailant. The attacker had been lying in wait in the bushes, and suddenly leapt out and charged at Dave where he sat unsuspectingly on a couch. The hatchet struck Dave in his head, penetrating his skull and his brain. Dave was transported by ambulance to the hospital, where he was rushed into emergency brain surgery. Dave is still in the hospital, and his doctors believe that he may be permanently paralyzed on his right side, and will suffer a lifelong speech impediment from the traumatic brain injury.
