Dave Klesh All Day Tough
Dave and Michelle Klesh have been big supporters in our community and I am asking for your help to rally around them during this difficult time. Dave was diagnosed with Colon Cancer on October 26, 2020. From that day on, their lives changed forever. He endured 6 weeks of chemotherapy and radiation and two weeks ago had surgery to remove the tumor. This week, they found out the cancer had spread to his lymph nodes.
Dave grew up here and attended Great Falls High and played football for the University of Montana. He is well-known at the Hi Ho and has been an active member of this community. Dave has a true passion for sports especially the Griz and Notre Dame football. Dave shared his love of sports with his dad who also battled cancer. His motto was “All Day Tough”.
To make matters worse, Michelle lost her treatment court job in November, which was a blessing in disguise, because she has been able to care for Dave at home. However, they also depend on her income. Dave hasn’t been able to work since the surgery. Up until this time, he hadn’t missed a day of work during his treatments, but will be out of work while he recovers. He is also scheduled to start another round of chemotherapy at the end of this month. He will then have another surgery this summer.
They have had an overwhelming response of people calling, texting, sending cards and dropping off meals which has been a huge support. Many others have asked how they can also give financially to Dave and Michelle. We want to give back to them for all of the love and support they have given our community. You can have an impact on their lives by giving to this cause.
