Dave Bleile Cancer Funds

On December 23rd my dad (Dave Bleile) went to the ER because he thought he was having trouble with his gull bladder, later he found out it was acutally a large grapefruit sized tumor wrapped around his kindey. The next day, Christmas Eve, he found out it was in fact Stage 4 kidney cancer. Over the last couple days and many MANY tests later we have also found out it has spread into his lungs, sternum, and lymph-nodes. 

He is currently admitted to Elkhart General in the Oncology Department, and was originally set to be relesaed today (Today is also his 56th birthday!!) but after getting more testing back found out that he has a large blood clot near the tumor, so he has to stay in the hospital on blood thinners until the clot is gone. 

In 4-6 weeks once the clot is gone, we will head to IU Cancer Center in Indianapolis where he will have his right kidney and the tumor removed... after hopefully a smooth recovery from that then they will start radiation for all of the other areas. 

I started this GoFundMe to help raise funds not only for his medical bills, but also medication, and living expenses. As much as he wants to return to work ASAP, he won't be clocking in for quite some time. 

My dad lives alone (with his cat) and is a very hard worker and always goes above and beyond to help his family and loved ones.

All of this has been a complete shock not only to him, but the entire family. Espically my daughter Lucy, he is her favorite person in the world and she is his. We just want her papaw to get better so they can make LOTS more memories together. 

This cancer is a burden enough for him so I am praying that together we can raise enough so he doesn't have to stress about money, or anything else.
