Daves Lymphatic cancer

Just a few months ago, Dave and Joan were given the news no one ever wants to hear....Dave has cancer. He had skin cancer removed from his arm; however, they were told if they didn’t remove it all there was a high probability it would turn into lymphatic cancer.  During that time they were in the process of applying for Covered California health insurance but it was placed on hold. They were told they would have to apply for medi-cal first. Over the next few months of anxiously waiting, many medical tests and procedures were necessary. Three months later they were finally approved for medical insurance. Unfortunately, NONE of their previous tests or procedures were covered. During this time Dave was ultimately diagnosed with lymphatic cancer. He is no longer able to work and Joan is only able to work part time due to his medical needs. Extensive medical testing and procedures still continue. They have no definitive answers on what his future treatments will entail. In the meantime Dave has become progressively worse and terribly ill. Costly medical bills as well as all household expenses keep adding up. The pressure has been horrendous for both Dave and Joan. They are now out of funds and unable to stay financially "afloat" in this trying time. Joan has always done so much for so many people, and now both her and Dave really need our support.
