In March 2017, our mom was diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer and she endured extensive chemotherapy, radiation, blood draws, and scans over the last two years.
Last year, after her mastectomy, she had a post-treatment scan which didn't provide good news. The results showed that the cancer metastasized in her liver, and was deemed inoperable. Due to the nature of her cancer, the only treatment available was double the amount of chemotherapy than she had endured before.
On February 27, 2019, our mom was admitted to the hospital due to complications of cancer in her liver. A few days later, she went into complete liver failure and took her last breath on March 6, 2019.
Now, more than ever, we need a community of support to come alongside our family.
The goal of this fundraiser has been to help alleviate the medical bills that have come from our moms treatments. Now, with our moms passing, we are asking for continued support for our dad in paying for the overwhelming medical expenses and funeral and burial costs.
Many have been asking us how they can help, or where they can send flowers or gifts. We are so appreciative of all of the support, encouragement and prayers. We are asking that instead of sending flowers, please consider a financial gift to help alleviate the remaining bills and expenses left with our dad.
Our family needs a community of support now more than ever. The last two years have been a trying and difficult time for our family. Please keep our family in your prayers as we process the loss of our mom.
