<div>wir sind die Abteilung Behindertensport innerhalb unseres Vereins "Wassersport PCK Schwedt e. V.".

<div>Seit 2009 ist es unser Ziel, gleichberechtigt an nationalen und internationalen Wettkämpfen teilzunehmen, was bis heute keineswegs eine Selbstverständlichkeit ist und jedes Jahr neu erkämpft werden muss.

<div>Unsere Kanutinnen und Kanuten haben sowohl geistige als auch z. T. körperliche Beeinträchtigungen.
</div>

</div>
<div>Die Parakanuten mit intellektuellen Einschränkungen starten national und international in der Kategorie "Intellectual Impairment" in der "Open Class" und sind mehrfache Titelträger und Medaillengewinner bei Deutschen-, Europa- und Weltmeisterschaften im Kanu-Sprint über 200 m und Kanu-Marathon über 8-12 km.

<div>Unsere nächsten Ziele sind Starts bei der Kanu-Sprint-EM im portugiesischen Montemor und der Kanu-Marathon-EM in Pitesti/Rumänien, beides im Juni. Im August würde dann die Sprint-WM in Poznan folgen und im Oktober die Kanu-Marathon-WM in Gualeguaychu/Argentinien.

<div>Bei der Marathon-EM und WM würde mit unserer Leona sogar die Titelverteidigerin an den Start gehen.
</div>

<div>Doch diese Vorhaben verlangen eine Menge finanzieller Ressourcen für z. B. Bootstransporte, An-/Abreise und Unterbringung sowie Anschaffung und Wartung von Booten, Westen und Paddel.
</div>

<div>Da Inklusion von öffentlicher Seite zwar immer verbal gefordert und deren Bedeutsamkeit propagiert, jedoch nicht in der erforderlichen Höhe finanziell unterstützt wird, fehlen uns die Möglichkeiten, das bisher Erreichte fortzuführen und aktiv an Regatten teilzunehmen.

<div>Ab 2026 können wir die gestiegenen Kosten zur Absicherung vor allem der erhöhten Zahl an internationalen Wettkämpfen nicht mehr aus den bisherigen Mitteln finanzieren.
