Delali Osman was diagnosed with Ameloblastoma which is an aggressive growing tumor of the jaw in december 2015. He was 21 at the time and just completed his Senior Secondary School education in business studies and looking forward to furthering his education at the university and dreamt of a career as a business executive down the road. Today 2 years later, the tumor has dobbled in size and has eaten away much of his lower jaw. The swelling gives him pain in the face much of the day, and he finds it difficult to eat. He seems to be loosing hope as scores of local herbal treatments and months at prayercamps do not seem to bring him any relief. The surgeons at Ghana's major teaching hospital require about $10000 for the major surgery to remove the tumor and a second major surgery to reconstruct his lower jaw and face using his own ribs and titanium plate and screws. In addition comes the cost of his hospital stay and rehabilitation. When Delali was first diagnosed with the aggressive tumor in 2015, the surgeons asked him to go and appeal for the funds and come back for the surgery when he was ready. He is still looking. He appeared in the local news and on TV but was not able to raise any substantial amount of money to enable him go for the surgery. Without surgery, the tumor will continue to grow and eat away most of his face and he will not be able to eat or see, eventually not be able to breath on his own ,and ultimately die a slow death. Please help Delali to get this life saving surgery by donating to his treatment fund.

Now, because of your generous donations, Delali has been able to perform the necessary, examinations including new blood analysis, X-rays and CT scans necessary for his surgery. He has been scheduled for surgery in the coming week: 9th August. He will be admitted at hospital on the 8th for pre operative evaluation.
This first part of the surgical treatment is when the tumor which has eaten a large part of his lower jaw and fascial bones and muscles will be removed. The second part which is most critical involves the reconstruction of the face and jaws using his own ribs and costly titanium plates and screws . This will be done when the wound from the first surgery has healed successfully.
