Helping Lorelei to Walk Again

Lorelei (wife and mother of 7) has had Multiple Sclerosis (MS) for 22 years.
During this time, she has endured so much pain, horrible sleep patterns, sickness and numerous side effects this terrible disease can cause... while never complaining. One such side effect is Trigeminal Neuralgia; a chronic pain condition that affects the Trigeminal Nerve, which carries sensation from your face to your brain. Even mild stimulation of your face — such as from brushing your teeth or putting on makeup may trigger a jolt of excruciating pain and at times longer, more-frequent bouts of searing painful episodes. She once told me when we first met; “I can deal with all the pain so as long as I can walk, take care of my children and continue to function.”
Now it has all changed. She is now beginning the next battle ---- being able to walk. We raised 7 children and as the last two leave the nest my wife’s MS is taking over her mobility at a fast pace. She is using a walker but is getting steadily worse and now beginning to fall more frequently and more violently. We all know that she has a few short months before she is wheel chair bound. She is terrified and so are we - something has to give. We need a miracle if my wife is to walk again, vacation, cook and enjoy the simplest pleasures in life which someday will be filled with grandchildren.
After years and years with so many medicines from immunosuppressants, steroid and even cancer drugs (too many to count here) nothing works to repair the damage. To compound this, she is now JC virus positive which means even if she wanted to take certain drugs she can’t since she runs the high risk of developing a brain tumor resulting in certain death.
