Terminate Calvin's terminal cancer!

Donation protected
This is my dad's 1st day in the hospital before he found out that he had cancer at the age of 76. He had been misdiagnosed for 4 1/2 months. It wasn't till he went to the ER for the 3rd time and they ran a CT scan and found a soft ball size tumor on his left side pelvis. They made an appointment for a biopsy a week later at MH at Memorial City, he didn't make it that long before he lost the use of his legs. September 17th,2017  he tried to stand up to go to bathroom and fell to the floor. My mom and her friend could not pick him up so he slept on the floor all night. My brother and his friend got him to the car and drove him to Memorial Hermann in Memorial City. Where he has been since September 18th,2017.

After they started fluids due to the fact that he could not hold any food or liquids down orally, he started to feel a little better. Then they began to give him IV Steriods to help the inflammation on his spin. This was September 19th, 2017 late that evening. His pain is a 8-10 usually but the staff at MH has exceeded my expectations. Every since my father entered the hospital the doctors have been speaking only of Calvin W Smith. Two thumbs up to his team. On September 20th ,2017 the biopsy came in as a blood cancer  called Muliple Myeloma that caused bone  tumors. His Radioligist Oncologist started radiation on my father September 21st, 2017 even though his insurance was still fighting not to pay the hospital. The doctor said that this was now an emergency situation and the insurance could take it up with the hospital. So currently he will be having radiation and physical therapy everyday until the tumors shrink and cells die. And you can guess what comes next CHEMO!!!!
