Who was Juan Ferraro?
Juan J. Ferraro was a devoted husband for forty- four years, a loving father to 3 wonderful sons, a caring grandfather to 3 granddaughters and 1 grandson. Juan was a son, brother, godfather, friend and mentor. He was a kind hearted, caring, humble individual who with his simple smile you knew was genuine.
Juan was a committed and devoted leader for over 30 years to the Boy Scouts of America. Through his tenure in scouting, he enjoyed camping, fishing, and helping shape the youth of scouting into future leaders. He touched the lives of many while in scouting. His selfless commitment to the youth, humbleness and passion for scouting made Juan well known and well liked in the scouting community.
Why are we raising?
Though Juan had a charming smile, you would never know that Juan was fighting cancer. Juan Ferraro's battle with Multiple Myelona- began in 2014. Over the last 3 years after various doctors appointments, numerous chemotherapy and radiation treatments and hospital stays he acquired an insurmountable amount of medical bills that became difficult to pay. On June 14th, 2017 after a valiant fight, Juan lost his battle to cancer; while surrounded by his family and loved ones. He leaves behind a wife of 44 years, 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
What are we hoping to Achieve?
This page is set up to assist his family; who has now inherited these bills and helping defer the cost of those medical expenses. No matter what the contribution may be, any amount will help offset those expenses.
