3 Wochen vor der Premiere wurde unsere Förderung nicht bewilligt! Wir sind Teil des Performing Arts Festivals und stecken seit Monaten viel Zeit und Kraft in das Projekt. Wir wollen und werden spielen - aber jeder gespendete € ist Geld, das nicht aus der Tasche der Projektbeteiligten kommt. Worum geht's:

PROJEKT
Immersives Theater meets Live-Rollenspiel: THE CRYSTAL HEAVEN LOUNGE // Das Fundament ist eine bespielbare Live-Simulation. Im Rahmen des Performing Arts Festival Berlin 2022 werden Panke Club & Gallery in Berlin Wedding zum kreativen Geheimclub und Wohnraum der Aussteiger:innen dieser nicht all zu fernen Zukunft. Die Akteur:innen von DOS.FAIL, die das Projekt entwickelt haben, bieten in mehreren Formaten die Möglichkeit, den Sinn und die Formen von Freiheit zu untersuchen.
Nachdem die Teilnehmer:innen von der RAW DIAMOND GRINDERY zur fiktiven Berufs-Beurteilung eingeladen wurden, können sie für 3 Stunden täglich Mitbewohner:innen des FUNDAMENTS werden. Es gibt zweimal täglich 1-stündige Cam-Shows mit Onlinegäst:innen. Abends gibt es die Möglichkeit für 2 Stunden in das aufregende Nachtleben der CRYSTAL HEAVEN LOUNGE einzutauchen – und alles aus den Augen einer eigenen Spielfigur.

KOSTEN
Es wurden verschiedene Fördergelder beantragt; trotz zahlreicher vergangener Fördererfolge fanden die Anträge diesmal keinen Zuspruch. Die Förderentscheide wurden uns erst Anfang Mai mitgeteilt, deswegen die Kurzfristigkeit dieser Kampagne. Die Projektbeteiligten haben sich bereit erklärt, ihre Zeit und kreative und administrative Schaffenskraft unbezahlt in das Projekt fließen zu lassen; das Set- und Kostümdesign entsteht aus bereits vorhandenen oder umsonst akquirierten Materialien, Textilien und Requisiten, und so kann und wird THE CRYSTAL HEAVEN LOUNGE // Das Fundament trotzdem stattfinden. Das Geld aus der Crowdfunding-Kampagne ist zum Decken der folgenden unumgänglichen Ausgaben gedacht:
>7.500 €: Grundkosten, wie Miete der Räumlichkeiten & Materialausgaben.**
7.500 €: Grundkosten, Reise- und Transportkosten, Set, Kostüm, Requisite.
20.000 €: alles Vorige inkl. Honorare (Mindestlohn).
** Alle Einnahmen durch Kartenverkäufe fließen auch in das Decken dieser Kosten.

PROJECT
Immersive theater meets Live Action Roleplay. THE CRYSTAL HEAVEN LOUNGE // Das Fundament is a playable live simulation in real life [IRL] and on the World Wide Web. In the context of the Performing Arts Festival Berlin 2022, Panke Club & Gallery in Berlin-Wedding will become the creative secret club and underground living space for the dropouts of this not-too-distant future. The performance collective DOS.FAIL developed the project to offer its guests the chance to investigate the many forms and meanings of freedom. After being invited by the RAW DIAMOND GRINDERY to participate in a fictitious career assessment, guests become temporary residents of the FUNDAMENT for 3 hours They can also chose to join the 1-hour cam shows as online guests. In the evening they have the option to dive into the exciting nightlife of the CRYSTAL HEAVEN LOUNGE for 2 hours. For any of these experiences, guests will generate and play their own unique characters.

EXPENSES
We applied for several fundings. Despite numerous past funding successes, this round was not one of them. We were notified of the funding decisions beginning of May, and are thus having to run this campaign at such short notice. All members of the project team have agreed to contributing hours of their time and creative and administrative labor for free; materials, props and costumes will be almost entirely recycled and reworked from past productions and so THE CRYSTAL HEAVEN LOUNGE // Das Fundament can and will still go ahead. Funds raised through Crowdfunding will go towards the following unavoidable expenses:
>7.500 €: Every € donated is a € that will not have to come out of the pockets of members of the project team to cover the basic unavoidable expenses. **
7.500 €: travel and transport costs; venue rent costs
20.000 €: professional fees (minimum wage); travel and transport costs, venue rent costs; additional set, costume, props
