Ally Jamieson and Niko Kerhulas live in Vancouver, BC with their 6 year old daughter Darwin. They are a kind and loving family.
When Niko suffered four brain hemorrhages in November 2016, it was a cruel and unexpected blow to his family, and they have struggled ever since. Suffering from regular seizures as a result of brain surgery, Niko is unable to work for the time being, and this has placed his family in a precarious position financially. After sending out more than 70 applications, Ally has finally found a job that will provide enough to support them. They have an amazing opportunity to rebuild their lives, but on the other side of the country, and they are struggling to find the money to make the move.
They need to raise $3500 to pay for their first months rent and security deposit, which we truly believe is attainable. If we can band together and reach this goal, we can help this family turn their life around.
They leave Vancouver on Friday October 20th, so time is of the essence.
