Reading plays such a significant part in a child's future academic attainment and success, but also has huge benefits on the development of creativity and empathy, as well as contributing to good mental health.
Due to the closure of local libraries throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, and restricted access to school books due to school closures and the need for books to be quarantined, a lot of children have suffered due to a lack of available books. As such, I would like to donate £1000 of books to the Dartford and Slade Green Food Banks to be distributed to the families that use their services.
Once I reach this target, a further £340 of books will be donated by Usborne Books at Home for FREE*
*This will include my personal commission
