Dart 10K for cancer research

In September we (Bart & Dave) will be swimming 10 kilometers during the Dart 10K. This is a river swim in the river Dart (UK).  Check out this awesome swim here: https://vimeo.com/152326484 
 
Inspired by the amazing effort of Maarten van der Weijden last year to attempt to swim the 11 Stedentocht (200km), we decided to raise money with our event and support his foundation with it. This foundation, named after the Dutch Olympic champion, raises money for cancer research. 

Last year Maarten did not achieve his goal of completing the swim, but he achieved to swim 163km of it, and collected more than 5 million Euros and that was much more than he could ever hope for….a great achievement and success!!!
 
In June 2019 he is going to have another attempt. https://www.11stedenzwemtocht.nl/ 

Our initial collective goal will be 2000E. Since we will be swimming 20.000m in total (10.000m each) we need to raise 10 cent per meter.

And this is where all of you can add value to this event. Every donation is more than welcome and appreciated.
