Door to Healing

As a young adult Laura underwent rigorous testing to donate a kidney to a young father so he could live.  Surgery went smoothly and her recovery was pretty uneventful.  Later she began to have chronic pain and fatigue.  No test or doctor could provide answers to what was going on in her body.  In spite of her sickness, she fell in love and married, hoping for "happily ever after", unaware that what she harbored in her body could affect her spouse and unborn children.  Her husband Darryl now struggles with similar issues and Laura is barely able to care for her family.  Encouraged by family members who have experienced their own dramatic Lyme symptom improvement, Darryl and Laura are scheduled to undergo the same Lyme treatment at the same clinic in January 2018.  They will get their sons, Ike and Paxton, tested at that time, also.  The boys are not currently sick, but if they test positive, they will also need treatment in the future.  Funds (and hope) have been depleted through much testing and trying multiple treatments to improve Laura's health. The Lymestop clinic charges a one time fee of $3000 for the course of treatment for each adult.  Children test free but if positive they will need to schedule their treatment for a future date.  Darryl's will have a two day road trip plus food and lodging expense in order to undergo the week of treatment in Couer d'Alene, Idaho.  Another trip is required for a follow up visit in 4 months after the initial treatment.  Additionally, Darryl is in need of major dental care that is adding to the strain of the disease on his body.  He has been looking for a good place to get that dental work done as reasonably as possible but it will still cost between $2000 and $3500.  We would love to help them with the cost of Lyme treatment, travel/lodging expense and Darryl's dental care.  Sincere thanks in advance for your love, your prayers, your kind understanding of chronic illness and any other contributions you feel to share with them.
