Why should you give? Read their story, it's still in process and you would be a huge part of helping this sweet couple get to their next chapter!

I am Darren's sister, Marley. I knew the moment that he brought Linley home she was the one. She fit right in with our family and it's hard to remember a time without her. After praying and getting permission from both Darren and Linley, I decided this was one thing I felt could help them get to the place they need to be. We pray for Gods will always and that their story in progress would touch each one of you. We give God all the praise.

MisCOURAGE The Johnson's story of heartbreak and hope
By: Marley Cherry

At age 12 Linley begin to struggle with female issues and was told getting pregnant would be nearly impossible in the years to come. She has battled endometriosis for over 15 years. When she and Darren first got married, the doctors told her to have a baby within the first 5 years because she would have to have a hysterectomy soon there after. A few months after getting married they conceived their first little miracle. At 10 weeks, they lost the baby. The devastation for both of them was tremendous. Less than a year later, they finally conceived another miracle! In hopes of getting to full term with this baby, they were yet again devastated at 10 weeks when the baby did not survive. They were crushed. Their hope seemed to disappear. After years of trying with no luck. They continued to have faith and hold on to the promises that God had given them even in the hardest moments. Fast forward to 2016, with a renewed faith they decided to try a new doctor out of Albany! With lots of test and all different types of medications and even surgery, they were able to get Linley's body to a place where she should be able to conceive but it seemed to not be working. After a lot of prayer they decided to got through with what they call an IUI. It's where the doctor takes the sperm and Injects it directly into the uterus to increase the chances of fertilization. To God's glory, it was successful. Linley became pregnant with their third miracle! At six weeks they went in for their first "OB" appointment. To their disappointment, this miracle was stuck in the Fallopian tube. This perfect baby, who was growing and had a healthy heart beat, was simply in the wrong place. The devastating news brought them back to a place they had known all too well. The plan was to do a Laparoscopy to remove the baby from the tube. During the surgery, there had been some excess bleeding of the tube and the Dr. was not able to save that tube. So now, Linley is down to only one Fallopian tube. Making something that was already difficult with two functioning tubes even harder...cutting their chances in half of getting pregnant again. The doctor explained to them they would be great candidates for a procedure called IVF. This is a process of fertilization by extracting eggs, retrieving a sperm sample, and then manually combining an egg and sperm in a laboratory dish. The embryo(s) is then transferred to the uterus. They prayed about this for a while and decided this would be their next step. Their first appointment went very well and they were given great hope. They were told the procedure would cost around $7,000. They have been back and forth to the doctors office getting ready for the "big day". They were able to save up and have the money they needed. Within the weeks leading up to the appointment, they were then told the actual cost. With test and medicines that she would have to take leading up to the procedure, the final cost is $15,000. Not knowing this up front they did not have that type of money to go forward with the procedure. So this is where I decided to come to you all! We need your prayers first and foremost, second, anything you are willing to give would bless this couple so much. They have been through so much to get to this point and be stopped. I want to show them Gods love through his people and blow them away with what they need! Please continue to pray and thank you for every prayer and dollar given.
