Darnell's Mom lost home in Houston

Darnell's mom and family were hit by Hurricane Harvey. His mom, Logan and Chandlers, grandma, lost EVERYTHING. At 4:30 am they woke up to water at their knee's. They couldn't get out of the apartment because the water was forcing the doors shut. They had to stand on their mattresses. Their electricity was still on at one point, so they had to get to all the plugs and unplug so they would get electrocuted. Not sure how they finally made it out, but they went to an upstairs neighbor's who kindly took them in for many hours. Finally, with boats and helicopters they made it out safe and alive. Her home is under water, all their belonging. If you planned on donating to Houston's devastating disaster, please think about donating to my kids grandmother, Darnell's mom here.
