Darla's Medical and Housing Fund

My beloved mother had to quit her job due to a back injury she suffered back in July.  She currently has severe osteoprosis. She also has a L3 compression fracture along with a L5/S1 herniated disc and a schmorl's node through the top of the L4 vertebrae, which is a fracture on the top of the L4 vertebrae with the L4/L5 disc pushing down through the fracture. This leaves her in sever pain most days and unable to do basic tasks like cooking or laundry. She may need another MRI and a bone density scan along with the recommended medications for osteoprosis which is all very expensive. We are hoping that this does not lead to back surgery. Our family is doing everything we can to help her in her long recovery process. Because she is no longer able to work she is having trouble paying for her medicial bills and housing expenses. She does not qualify for unemployment and we have already begun the disability process which could take up to a year. Therefore she has no income as of right now. If my mother has ever been a kind friend to you I ask that you please help her out in her time of need. Right now any little bit will help and will be greatly appreciated.
