Darla Denise Ford-Tilford medical and funeral expe

My mom had an abscess which she got lanced and drained on Friday, May 29th. On Tuesday, June 2nd, she was taken to the hospital late that night because she was incoherent and delusional. After twelve hours at the hospital, she was admitted to the hospital and taken into an emergency surgery where they found many dead skin cells in the wound that developed flesh-eating bacteria. She had emergency surgery to remove the dead skin cells and extra abscess. After this surgery, she started to feel a lot better and started looking better. Later, they decided to do an ostomy that caused blood clots in her abdomen and found that the flesh-eating bacteria had spread to her kidneys and liver on Monday, June 8th the day after my, her youngest, graduation.  That is when she began to get worse. Her organs began to fail which caused her body to swell and the blood clots caused internal bleeding. They performed dialysis on Friday to help clean her blood in hopes to reduce the swelling. On Saturday, they performed dialysis once again and performed another emergency surgery to remove the blood clots in the area of her abdomen. Not having enough blood after dialysis and the emergency surgery proved to be too much for her body causing her to go into shock. She went into critical condition and they managed to get her stable before we got to the hospital. After they allowed everyone to see her and we went home, no more than 30 minutes later we got a call that she was back to being unstable. Through the night the nurses were fighting to keep our mother alive. Our family stayed by her side all night praying for her life and encouraging her to keep fighting, telling her that we were there, that we love her, and giving her comfort by holding her hand and kissing her forehead. The surgery proved to be too much for her body. Our family saw things that no one should see a loved one go through. She had all types of tubes coming out of her body. She was bruised up, pail, yellow, cold, unresponsive, and bleeding from all over. We lost our loving mother and best friend at 7:25 on Sunday morning June 14th after being in ICU fighting for her life for nearly 3 weeks. With the money we are trying to raise it will help our family out tremendously with all the medical bills, funeral expenses, and also help us pay our bills now that we are down to one income. Any donation will help or just helping us spread this to more people would be helpful and we are grateful and thankful for anyone who decides to help our family.
