Darin and Jessica's Cancer Journey

I want to share a story with you about a family that I love dearly. 7 years ago my best friend met an amazing man, who walked into her life and the life of her 4 children and changed them forever...Darin Baxter stepped up and has been a loving and supportive step Dad and companion for Jess. In october of 2016 they found themselves devastated and broken to find out that after being sick for a week ,Darin had been diagnosed with stage 4 terminal colon cancer....He had surgery to remove a golf ball size cancerous  tumor and  part of his colon and after biopsy got the devastating news that 24  of 50 Lymphnoids tested positive for cancer....confirming the diagnosis.
Darin is not able to work due to chemo treatments(a prolonging strategy)and Jess being the sole provider for the family, and it's a struggle.
Darin wants to marry Jess and make sure his family is ok through and after all this.
