Darcy Needs Ear Surgery!

My name is Darcy. Darcy Darcy Darcy. I need money, $4000, for an ear surgery. You see my wonky curly ear, it’s kinda cute, cute as a bug’s ear, but it’s not a trouble maker, it had a hematoma that was treated when I first was rescued.

Then my good ear, my other ear, not to be out done by my wonky ear started having infections. Medicine helped or seemed to do the trick for a little while.

But then my chronic ear infections returned and we've, Foster Mom and me, tried everything and nothing seems to help or only helps for a teeny while.

We tried special diets, different eardrops, ear cleaning, medicines, medicines, medicines.

A special Dogtor says the next thing to do is a surgery to remove an inner part of my ear that keeps getting infected. It's called ear canal surgery and I’m scheduled for it on March 24th.

Foster Mom knows it’s a lot of money, but she also knows I’m miserable with my ear hurting me all day and night. She wants me to finally feel better and doesn’t want me or my new family to struggle with this when I get adopted. Getting it corrected now will help my adoption chances, as I’ve been in foster care a long time.
