Hope for Darcy

UPDATE: Thanks to all that have prayed for Darcy and donated to the fundraiser. Darcy passed away yesterday afternoon with her family by her side. Please continue to pray for the family. We are going to close this fundraiser out tonight and transfer the funds to Dakota Heritage Bank in Hope, where there is an account in Darcy's name. Any further donations can be directed to that account in Hope. The money will go toward Darcy's final bills and funeral arrangements.
Mike, Brent, Tammy, Ron, and the rest of the family would like to thank everyone for everything they have done.
Darcy Jacobson, a lifelong resident of Hope, ND, has fallen ill with COVID-19 and is currently hospitalized in Fargo. She has been on a ventilator for the past week and is having a tough time. This fundraiser to help Darcy pay her bills and help the family while she is in the hospital. All donations will pay Darcy's rent, bills, etc., while she is in the hospital.
Darcy continued to work until she fell ill. Her family did not ask for this help, but did agree that it would be helpful to Darcy. I am just a friend of Darcy's and spent a lot of time at her house growing up. She used to yell at me like I was one of her kids (I deserved most of the time)! While everyone would much prefer to have a social fundraiser for her, it is obviously out of the question.
The proceeds will be managed by myself, her sister Tammy, and Sue Parkman (even though she isn't aware of that yet!). We will make sure Darcy's rent and bills get paid.
