Darby's Spinal Surgery

Please help me pay for my dog Darby's spinal surgery.  A disk at the base of his spine has ruptured, and he now struggles walk with his hind legs, and can barely stand unaided.     He will need laser surgery on his spine to heal him, and this has been scheduled for mid December.  

It hurts my heart to see him in so much pain, and to watch him drag his little legs behind him when he wants to move.  I sometimes have to hold him up while he uses the bathroom, when he's exhausted himself trying to stand.   Every day, I carry him to his food bowl.   

He is only 8 years old, and still has many years ahead of him.   His recovery chances are excellent.   He is still in good spirits, in spite of his pain, but his days are now spent on his cusion, watching squirrels out the window that he wishes he could still chase.  

All the funds collected will go directly to his surgery, meds and vet bills.   The goal is based on the quote from the surgeon and his vets.    Please donate whatever you can.  My little fella and I have been through a lot together, and it hurts me to see him in so much pain.
