Hurricane Harvey Flood Assistance

My name is Fred Clark III and my sister Candice and I are setting up this GoFundMe for our father, Fred Clark Jr. who was one of the many who lost severly due to floods caused by Hurricane Harvey. His home in Humble, TX took in roughly 4-5 ft of water and his vehicle was destroyed by the flood. Even today, when waters receded in much of the city, his home can still only be accessed by boat. The majority of his belongings have been severly damaged and he will need to start over.

Like many families in the Houston area, my father does not have flood insurance, as he does not live in the "flood zone". He has recently just gone back to work after 6+ months of being at home due to treatment for heart failure, and he does not the necessary funds to spend on repairs. 

He could really use any assistance that you could provide as he begins to look for housing and transportation. While the repairs will be tens of thousands of dollars, we are asking for $10k to get him started on the road to back to normal life. All donations will be spent on home repairs (gutting the home, replacement of major appliances, new floors, etc.) Thank you for your donations and prayers!
