Daphne's Cancer Support

After nearly a decade in remission, my beautiful wife Daphne was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma in soft tissue in November 2017.

What started out as a lower back pain quickly spiraled into a whirlwind of hospitalizations in the last quarter of 2017. Daphne had her first round of chemo on December 5th, and was part of the ten percent of patients that experienced harshly adverse reactions. To sum it up, Daphne had reactions similar to a stroke, and was subsequently hospitalized in the MD Anderson emergency room, where she has spent the past week recovering.

Daphne is a fierce (stubborn) fighter and has remained emotionally resilient during this time. She's been fighting with her dry sense of humor and sarcasm, and makes sure she finds the humor in every situation.

We are dreading the first invoice from the hospital, knowing that medical bills present a daunting challenge. We're not asking for much, just anything that you can spare to help with impending medical bills. Any excess funds will be donated to local non-profit organizations.
