Daphne Montoya

Daphne was a Math teacher for 16 years and touched countless lives.  She  was full of life and passionate about helping kids bring Math into their everyday lives. She was a wife, mother, sister and daughter.
In September of 2016 she was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer that had metastasized to her brain.  She went through whole brain radiation, and targeted therapy trying to stop the cancer. These treatments took a toll on her both mentally and physically.  In spite of the efforts the cancer spread to her spine and her liver. Her zest for life and her passions kept her fighting through it all.
Unfortunately she had to stop teaching and go on disability which was a substantial cut in pay and the cost of CT scans, MRI's, Drugs, and Co-Pay doctor visits piled up fast.
On September 11, 2017 Daphne succumbed to the cancer. She was 51 years old.
We thought we had more time....that we would be able to live a little more and do things that she wanted to do. 
Help is needed to pay for medical bills and final expenses and other bills.
