Daphne Miss Newark DE for America 2019

Hi everyone! My name is Daphne and I have been chosen for  Miss Newark, Delaware for Miss  Delaware for America pageant on April 27, 2019. The winner of this pageant will go on to represent Miss Delaware.

This is not only an amazing opportunity for me but my desire is to share with others that no matter what has happened in your life, there is never a limited timeline to achieve new goals. 

I am excited about running for the title of Miss Delaware for America this platform allows me to be creative, use my voice and strengthen my community.  I would like to use my platform to impact individuals for healthy relationships, community connection, and help individuals become the best version of themselves. Through this campaign, I want to advocate with organizations on the unawareness of the resources and support provided to end the domestic violence abuse. In addition, I want to connect individuals to engage in a healthy community. I believe that Cityfam organization helps empower individuals to step into healthy relationships and community involvement to lead lives filled with passion no matter what trials they may have experienced.  I would like to work with these organization to strengthen and build up our community.

Being selected is a huge honor and I will be sure to put my best foot forward when preparing for this competition! We are encouraged to look for sponsors to help with this cost of the pageant fees. Any donation is greatly appreciated and I am so grateful for all the support I have received.
