As you may have heard, Dan Vigus passed away suddenly on February 14, 2014. His death came as an incredible shock to his wife Patti and daughter Jacalyn. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Dan's passing has left his family broken-hearted and struggling financially. Dan's death comes at a time when the family has been dealing with extreme financial hardships and with the added pressures of planning a funeral, they are struggling to both keep the family above water and to honor their loved one's life. The Vigus's are incredibly grateful for the support that they have received from friends and family in this difficult time. Support has come through kind words, listening ears, and offers of food and flowers. What they need most, however, is financial donations. That is why I am sending you this letter, to ask you to support a family in crisis in the most tangible way possible. While Patti and Jacalyn would not ask for this directly, I would like to ask all of you to honor this man's life by giving what you can. In doing so, you can honor the memory of a man who touched many peoples' lives and put smiles on many faces. Most importantly, you would do him the honor of keeping his family moving forward in this tragic time of loss.

For those of you who knew Dan, you remember him as the hardworking and supportive family member that brought smiles to the faces of his friends and loved ones. It would break his heart to know the hardships that are left on his family's shoulders now that he is gone.
