A portion of the donations will go to my sister-in-law and her Team Arizona for Cancer Research. She is my hero. She is on the left. We need to raise a minimum of $35,000 for my current medical bills immediately. With more bills coming in daily we really need more.

In 2010 I had a liver biopsy done because of an enlarged liver. They diagnosed it as non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), not caused by alcohol or hepatitis. In late 2013 I had a bout of endocarditis and was referred to a multi-organ transplant medical center for testing. I had seven stents placed in my heart and told to lose a bit more weight. I have lost over 100 lbs and losing more daily because of my illness. This was with the understanding I would get a liver transplant.

On my last visit in April 2015 I was given devastating news that I should have been told about 16 months ago. I will never get a liver transplant. My belly continues to fill with fluids that gets drained through a catheter every 7- 10 days now. They have taken more than 100+ liters plus off me so far. Just 5.2 liters on April 28, 2015. This is not fun for me either.
The cost for the draining the fluids has gone from $3,000 to around $4,000 per procedure or $142,000 - $203,000 a year. Even with insurance covering a portion I still rack up hospital costs.
The worst part is we are wrapped up in the ObamaCare issues for insurance. Either way the Supreme Court rules in June 2015 I will lose my tax credits that help me pay for our insurance coverage. I have lost faith in Congress to do anything for the people. Losing them (tax credits) means it will take more than half of my Social Security Disability payment to buy insurance. I cannot afford this and will have to cancel my coverage. It would cost over $14,000 or more a year for insurance coverage. This is one reason I need your help now!!!
My wife of 40-years and my rock, it has been very hard on my wife along the way. She had a total knee replacement and I could not help her do some of the things needed. I did not have the strength or energy anymore. She needs the other one done now. About $50,000 for her surgery and therapy recovery.
