Dan Sherman's Stroke Recovery

On December 27th my brother-in-law, Dan Sherman was taken by ambulance to Riverside hospital after having a stroke. He received immediate treatment by the experienced staff which we are all so grateful! Dan is only 50 years old (we actually share our birthdays) so having a stroke at this age came as a surprise to everyone.
Dan's recovery is coming along but he still has a long road ahead of him...from having part of his skull temporarily removed to reduce pressure from his brain swelling to many hours of OT, PT and Speech Therapy. He is scheduled for the surgery to have his skull replaced in three weeks and we are looking forward to having him home shortly after that.
After spending many weeks in Ohio Health Rehab, he has moved to a skilled nursing home to continue his road to recovery. Many friends and family members have asked how they can help and it's appreciated. As you can imagine, the medical bills have been coming in and it can be overwhelming with one income.
