Spreading God's Love to Haiti!

I would like to start off by thanking you for taking the time to learn more about my mission! I believe that God is moving around the world and I am very excited to have the opportunity to be apart of what He's doing overseas and to share my experiences with you!
For those of you who don't know me, my name is Danny Cachin. I am 20 years of age, born and raised in Southern California. I am currently attending Ventura College for Business Management and plan to attain my associates degree before committing to missions full-time. I am an avid dog lover, spicy food enthusiast, and basketball fanatic (Go Lakers!)
Last year, I was blessed with the opportunity to partner with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and take part in their 6-month Discipleship Training Program. I spent the first three months in the Philippines training, growing in my faith, and embracing my identity in Christ. After that, my team and I were deployed onto the mission field where we were blessed to have the opportunity to share God's love in Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia (and a ~20 hour layover in Singapore, haha). It was an amazing cross-culture experience! We assisted in the feeding and nurturing of children in poverty-stricken villages, orphanages, and city streets; supported struggling communities through practical work and light construction; and taught basic and pre-intermediate English to children and young adults in multiple countries.
After coming home from that first experience last March, I was already hungry for more. I saw the need for God's love in those countries, and couldn't help but think how many more people were out there...how many more people still needed to experience who God truly is.
Now, God has lead me to Haiti! After months of praying for the next opportunity to spread His love, I came into contact with Coastline Bible Church in Ventura. I was told of their missions effort in Haiti through a classmate in my business class; we were randomly talking about a group project after class one day, and somehow ended up talking about missions! Little did I know that this conversation would be an answer to my prayer. After meeting a couple times with those leading the trip, and learning more about Haiti and what they hope to accomplish through this effort - I was intrigued! They want to focus their efforts on helping the Haitians in a multitude of ways: from providing dental and eye care, to educating and helping Haitians run their own businesses; from creating/fixing working roads between villages to revitalizing the nation's economy!
Long story short, after weeks of praying and asking God for confirmation for this trip - He answered! I've been experiencing His overwhelming peace and abundant blessings with this decision and would like to ask you to partner with me on this journey!
I need to raise the final $500 within the next two weeks!
