Danny's Family

I’m writing today to let you all know that Danny Deeds and his family are all SAFE AND UNHARMED but they were victims of a devastating house fire on Saturday night.  Danny, his wife, and his boys awoke from sleep to the noise and were able to get out of the house safely.  However, their home, all of their belongings, and their car was lost. Danny and his family are quite shaken but they are beginning to take the first steps toward getting back on their feet.  They have moved into a Residence Inn until they can locate a longer-term rental and then ultimately a new, permanent home.  Danny said that they feel fortunate and overwhelmed by the amount of community outreach, help from friends, and even the kindness of strangers they are experiencing.
