Danny Cruz Memorial Fund

Danny "Monster" Cruz, one of the most talented and inspiring artists and musicians of his generation, succumbed to a heart attack due to complications from Duchenne muscular dystrophy on December 13th, 2017. All of the money raised here will be directly accessible by Danny's mother and stepfather to help pay for funeral expenses and give them room to breathe.


Danny preached a message of love, tolerance and unity that was always spiked with a puckish sense of humor. He charmed everyone he met, but thanks to the internet he was able to spread his work far beyond the reaches of his small circle of friends and family surrounding Greenfield and Turners Falls, Massachusetts. This is a devastating loss, not only for those who knew him, but for anyone who embraces freedom of expression and undying commitment to art. Though he is no longer with us in physical form, Danny's spirit will never die and you are encouraged to share and listen to his music, which is all he ever wanted in the first place.
