Danny Bailey Memorial Fund

On Friday 30th July 2021 we lost a well loved friend and overall Gooner legend Danny Bailey to Covid after a 2 week battle against the disease. We'd like to raise funds to help his family with the funeral costs as well as giving him the proper send off he deserves and a banner to show our love for him in the stadium. Any excess funds will be donated to a charity of his family's choice.

Danny Bailey was truly a one of a kind gent. Wherever he went he'd make new friends, never scared to introduce himself to new people and always the life and soul of away trips. He travelled up and down the country and across Europe following the club putting in thousands of miles to travel to wherever the club took us.

His love of football wasn't just limited to Arsenal following all sorts of obscure leagues and he was a jetsetter travelling to different countries to visit new grounds even when Arsenal didn't play there.

Danny Bailey was an animal lover. Well known for his affinity for a zoo, always making sure to find time to fit in a visit during his football escapades. He didn't care if nobody else wanted to go with him, it was what made him happy! And of course nothing made him happier than getting #OffNut with friends!

Everybody who attended Arsenal regularly knew the face of Danny Bailey, he was a legend of the concourse where he'd spend most of the match. We will miss him dearly and want to give him the send off that is befitting a man of his stature so please donate whatever you can whether big or small and we'll all celebrate the life of Danny Bailey together.

Details of the funeral and wake will be forthcoming and we'll make sure everybody has their chance to pay their respects.
