Yoga Teacher Training

Hi my name is Danielle Goode or you may know me as @queensgirl_yogi30 on instagram. I'm a licensed social worker who discovered my love for yoga about a year ago. I'm raising money to follow my passion and become a registered yoga instructor. The cost for my training is $3000 (gulp) with YogaVida  and I'm asking for your donation. First let me give you a little back ground information about me...

What first drew me to yoga were the amazing ways in which people were able to move and contort their bodies. After studying this art for almost a year I've come to learn it's purpose is far greater than that. Yoga is about a journey. It's about developing self love, patience, becoming balanced both physically and mentally and perhaps most of all being kind to yourself and others.



Before I discovered the deeper purpose of yoga, it was simply my substitute for the gym. After about a few months I knew it was much more than that. It became a path I would commit to because of the immense joy I felt when practicing. It's the time when I reinforce the connection to myself and my purpose allowing me to ignore outside distractions. There's a peace I feel when I'm on my mat and I want others to feel the same.



Although I have attended a small number of classes, I have taught myself everything I know. Still, I know there is much more to learn. Furthering my education and receiving my certification will allow me to enhance my practice and offer it to others. Upon successful completion of the training I plan to extend my practice to child and prenatal yoga.
