Over the 3.5 years that I've worked for Dresser-Rand and Siemens, I have met and worked with some really great people. One of those that I've been fortunate to have met and now work with is Dan Taylor. I knew Dan when he lived in Nigeria and he moved to Houston less than a year ago. He is a great colleague and friend.
Unfortunately, Dan, his wife Kelly, and their dogs were evacuated from their 4th floor apartment late Tuesday night as waters from the nearby bayou approached the 2nd floor following Hurricane Harvey. We do not believe that Dan will be able to get back into his apartment for some time. Meanwhile Kelly is about to give birth this weekend to their first child. Much of the baby supplies they had purchased and their own clothing are obviously in the apartment as they were not able to leave with much.
As Dan's peers, we would like to raise some money for supplies so they can focus on the birth of their first child. Any and all support is welcome! Thanks!
