Danielle's Melodies Virtual Concert
Hello! My name is Danielle and I have an act called Danielle's Melodies that specializes in songs from the 40s, 50s, and 60s. Over the past 8 years, I've built a nice relationship with many of the retirement communities and nursing homes around the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas.
This last year I haven't been able to visit them in person due to Covid. I missed my residents so much that I made them a 20-minute video for Christmas. Since I also know how to do video editing and sound recording, I was able to make it fun with different settings, costume changes, and four-part harmony - the video of Carol of the Bells that accompanies this post is from that video.
Their responses have all been positive and I would like to be able to make them another video that they can play throughout the year. Or at least until I'm able to see them in person again, whichever comes first.
The big thing is that I would like to offer this to them for FREE. My Christmas video was given to them for free, but like I said it was only twenty minutes long. I want to make this next video closer to an hour. If I can raise enough money then I can send it out, not only to the places I frequent but to any place that may want it for their residents.
I would like to have the funds by the end of 2020. With recording the music and videos and then editing it all together, it will most likely take me three weeks to a month to make this video. It should be available by the end of January/early February.
