<div>We appreciate you taking the time to come to this page to understand and support our journey! As most are aware, Danielle was diagnosed in July 2023 with Triple Positive Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Stage 4. We have had a great run for two years, with August 2025 marking two years since treatment began, which has continued consistently since. We personally feel like we have rocked these last few years! We’ve stayed headstrong and focused, in part from a rally of support from so many in April 2024.

<div>We’ve recently learned that the cards are stacked against us again. Danielle’s breast cancer metastasized to her spine in early summer, and she layered on additional treatment that hasn’t been kind to her, but she has smiled through it. Unfortunately we discovered this week that the cancer has now metastasized to her brain as well. Specifically, this week’s scans found 3 metastasized locations in her brain. She will be meeting with a neurosurgeon at Roper and a radiation oncologist (hopefully the same that radiated lymphnodes in April, Dr. Harper at MUSC Hollings Cancer Center) while continuing her current cancer treatment with Dr. Shand’s team at Charleston Oncology. In real time, she was preparing to return to work and now we are pausing and regrouping. This is a gut punch. We are still processing.

<div>With all of this said, the outpouring of love and support and prayers has kept our energy high. And Grady most certainly keeps us moving and positive. We are so thankful. We could humbly use a 2025 rally of support to alleviate stress with medical bills, so we can focus on this new level fight ahead. All of the stress that is removed from Danielle’s plate means the world to us. Let’s be honest…she would rather be closing a software deal but she will most definitely give this new phase the same perseverance.
