I broke my ankle while working as a professional gardener in a client's garden, and now I need surgery. I stepped on cobblestone rocks the wrong way, my foot got stuck, and I fell sideways, causing a spiral fracture. What started as a normal workday changed everything in an instant, and it has been scary to suddenly face all of this at once.

Because I am self-employed, I can't work while my ankle heals. That means I am facing not only surgery and recovery, but also the loss of my income at the same time. I am really worried about how I will manage the medical costs and keep up with everyday expenses while I am unable to work.

The support from this fundraiser will help cover my ongoing needs during recovery, including medical bills, copays, appointments, physical therapy, medications, and daily bills. Donations and shares would mean so much to me.

If you are able to help, please know how deeply grateful I am for any support. Every donation, no matter the size, will help me get through surgery, recovery, and the day-to-day bills that continue while I am out of work. Even sharing this fundraiser means a great deal to me. Thank you so much for your kindness, support, and for helping me through this setback.
