Danielle Lawson's Stroke Rehab Fund

Donation protected
Ms. Lawson is hard working remember if the Retention and Reclassification Branch (EMT), she is a vibrant young woman who had two strokes the day before Thanksgiving. The saving grace to this story, is she was at a luncheon with friends instead of being on the road with her young daughter to see family in Ohio for Thanksgiving. Danielle lives here alone with her daughter while her husband is in a different state fulfilling his Army obligation while her nearest relative is 50 miles away. The rest of her family also lives in a different state. She is truely one of the kindest and hardest working people I know. Soon after her strokes instead of being defeated, she has declared that she will be back, better and stronger in all aspects of her life. The reason for the Go Fund Me request, is not for a pitty party. You see, Danielle has the heart and drive just like the Soldiers that she supports on the Eligibility Management Team (EMT). The reality is, she will be under going very intensive rehab in forseeable future and will be away from work for next 5 to 6 weeks. Although her work family is engaged in donating leave, the reality is there is a very good chance she will be on leave without pay for a portion of the rehab and the many appointments to follow. Addionally, her family has established a plan to have someone with her for the forseeable future; however, due to the distance they will incur travel expenses and live in a transient status until she is able to go home. Please support Danielle and her family until she can get back to doing what she enjoys, supporting Soldiers and being a cheer mom.
