Danielle (Danni) Whittaker’s Repatriation Costs

Danni was larger than life, a fierce defender of what she believed was right, creative, clever, hilarious and always fun to be around.

She loved people, supporting her friend’s achievements; entrepreneurial endeavours and spiritual development. She encouraged everyone to be their best and to not take any rubbish from anyone! Danni was protective and would back her mates in a heartbeat.

Sadly, 3 days after her 40th birthday, she passed away.

Danni would want her body returned to the earth of New Zealand. The costs for repatriation are expensive, around $10k which is an unexpected cost on her family. Her friends would love to help the family out by raising money to assist.

Danni was always a generous person and believed the universe would bring it all back to her when she needed it. If you could help with any gift, even shouting her a final drink; that would make a difference.

The family are still processing their loss, and when the time is right; will share details of Danni’s funeral and memorial in NZ. For those in Brisbane/Gold Coast, her friends have arranged a memorial, with the details in the facebook group.

For transparency as GoFundMe asks for these details to be provided, Danni's friends have been assisting the family with making arrangements on the Australian side of things. This GoFundMe was set up by me (Josie), a friend of Danni's of 10 years, in conjunction with some of Danni's other long term friends, Alicia, Amanda and Bhavana. The invoice from the funeral home who is handling the Aussie side of things is being finaliased and your gift will be paid by us to the funeral home to cover the costs. The beneficary is the funeral home and transport costs.
