Hello, I'm running the Leeds half marathon on 12 May for children of the Nkoni Educational Centre in Uganda and Macmillan nurses in the U.K.
100% of your donations will go to Nkoni Educational Centre
I will match 20% of all your donations with my own money for Macmillan nurses UK. The more you give to Nkoni the more I will give to the volunteer nurses :-)
After the run I will publish evidence like: pictures of the run and receipts of both donations
Every cent/penny you donate will reach the kids in Uganda, I will personally cover the cost of the international wire transfer to Uganda that I will personally make!
Why Nkoni Educational Centre in Uganda?
Because I've been following and supporting this succesful micro-project since 2001. Everything started with an empty field and a few pupils and today more than 500 AIDS orphans can attend primary education for free, with free food and shelter every day. If you want to know more, contact me, the website of the project is still only in Italian.With the money raised we'll provide pupils and families with energy efficient LED photovoltaic lights, improving significantly the quality of their life. A successful test with a few of them has already been made!

Why Macmillan nurses?
Because they've been helping a lot with volunteer care and assistance for my wife's beloved granparents towards the end of their life.

Dopo la gara pubblicherò prova della corsa e ricevute delle due donazioni. Ogni centesimo che donate raggiungerà i bambini in Uganda, mi occuperò personalmente di coprire il costo del bonifico internazionale che faro' io personalmente!

Con i soldi che raccoglierò acquisteremo robuste ed efficienti lampade fotovoltaiche a LED che possono migliorare moltissimo la qualità della vita dei bambini e delle loro famiglie. Abbiamo già testato alcune di queste lampade con molto successo.
