Meet Daniel. Daniel Bryant Possiel was born on June 16, 2017 with an atrioventricular septal defect (AVSD) and Down Syndrome. After birth, he remained in the NICU for 4 weeks and has since undergone surgery for a gastronomy tube. He is scheduled for open heart surgery at four and a half months old to correct the AVSD.
Not only are the hospital bills from these surgeries extensive, but Daniel was recently denied Medicaid and his insurance doesn’t cover many of his pressing medical needs, such as a hearing aid and in home therapies. He will need physical, speech (due to hearing loss for proper language development), and feeding therapy to learn to bottle-feed again after heart surgery.
Please consider easing the financial burden of this sweet family as they faithfully trust in the goodness and sovereignty of the Lord and His plan for their family.
