Our son Daniel entered heaven suddenly and unexpectedly on March 13, 2018, at the tender age of 32. The world will not be the same without Danny. He was so fun to be around. His smile lit up every room that he was in, and he will now light up countless rooms in Heaven. He was a loving and wonderful son. He was warmhearted and touched many, many lives.
We are establishing this fund to purchase a Memorial Rock in Daniel’s name. Danny loved the outdoors, so pending the approval of a memorial site permit, the Memorial Rock will either be placed along the Cherry Creek Trail near Parker, or in the Castlewood Canyon State Park near Castle Rock. The Memorial Rock will be a large serenity memorial rock, large enough to sit on to contemplate peace, eternity, and the remembrance of Daniel. It will have a permanent engraved name plate, that will read:

We would like to reach our funding goal as soon as we can so that we can apply for the permit and order the Memorial Rock.
Steven C. Broughton, Daniel's beloved father, will be in charge of the funds. Susan L. Broughton will select the Memory Rock placement.
